What do I Tip?
Our motto “Love it. Tip it.” pretty much describes what you want to tip. Everything you would want to share with a friend is fair game. On the other hand, if you need a Tip, or advice, go ahead and Tip It as well!
It is just like having a group of your best friends with you at all times able to share in your excitement when you find a killer deal or help decide between two cute pair of shoes.
How Do I Tip?
Well, you need a computer or a smartphone. Get the iPhone application HERE, or install the browser Tip It application on your computer from HERE. These are your two options:
Open the Tip It iPhone app. Take photo. Share your photo. Done. (Well, yes, you need to select a category and maybe add a comment, but it really is pretty darn simple).
Open your browser. Find something to tip (maybe a picture of a purse that is on sale that you just must have). Click Tip It! in browser bar, then click a picture in the website, and share. Done. Just like the iPhone application, you need to select a category and you may want to add a comment.
Who are My Tip It Girls?
Have a special friend that you want to follow and share your tips with? Don’t want everyone to see your tip? Have a question that may not be appropriate for the entire audience? Well, you can invite friends into your inner circle….your “My Tip It Girls” circle. Send specific tips, messages or communications to one, some or all of your Tip It Girls!
Should I leave Feedback?
Absolutely yes. This is what it is all about. Be honest, not brutal. Comment on as many tips as you can - everyone loves feedback
What are those icons next to my name?
These are the badges you can earn! The more Tip It Girls decide to follow your tips, the higher up in the Tip It Girls ranks you go! Badges will soon allow you to get special deals in the Tip It Store as well as other perks! Currently the categories are, in order of rank, Newbie, Model, Fashionista, Queen and Top Tip.
Can everyone see My Tip Page?
Yes, your Tip Page is like your Tip It Girls photo blog, or collection. You have complete control over what is displayed here! Visit other Tip It Girls Tip Pages and follow them if your tastes align! Watch your collection grow and become a Top Tip in no time!
